During the production process, stainless steel tubes are heated by induction to a temperature significantly exceeding 1000°C in a protective atmosphere consisting of hydrogen. This atmosphere is ensured by the passage of stainless steel tubes through quartz glass tubes, on the inner sides of which, however, deposits form from mineral oil residues and further from vaporized metal complexes. They subsequently created these deposits
surface defects on manufactured stainless steel tubes . The deposits are chemically very resistant, they did not show any changes even when heated above 2000°C. Using a pulsed laser and subsequent chemical rinsing, we are able to remove deposits without damaging the quartz glass surface .
Cleaning price CZK 150-500 depending on the dimensions and contamination of the tube. www.lsrservices.cz
