During the production process, stainless steel tubes are inductively heated to a temperature well above 1000°C in a protective atmosphere formed by hydrogen. This atmosphere is ensured by the passage of stainless steel tubes through quartz glass tubes, on the inner sides of which, however, deposits are formed from mineral oil residues and also from complexes of evaporated metals. These deposits subsequently created
surface defects on manufactured stainless steel pipes. The deposits are chemically very resistant, even when heated above 2000°C, they did not show any changes. Using a pulsed laser and subsequent chemical rinsing , we are able to remove deposits without damaging the surface of quartz glass.
Cleaning price 150-500 CZK depending on the dimensions and contamination of the tube. www.lsrservices.cz
