Removing gross rust from a steel water tank - a riveted water tank dating back to the last century was already largely oxidized. Although it still sealed, the corrosion was really deep. Due to the thick layers of corrosion, the riveting and overlapping of the sheets was not even visible in places. The outer surface was provided with several layers of different coatings. The customer wished to carefully treat it and prepare it for surface treatment for further use, this time not as a water reservoir, but as a decorative element. Gross corrosion was first carefully removed mechanically and then the surface was carefully cleaned with a ROD500 pulsed laser.www.lsrservices.cz
